Embarking on the SDIT Level 2 Course initially felt like a daunting step, but after thoughtful consideration, I decided to enrol — and it proved to be one of the most rewarding professional decisions I have ever made. A new world of understanding and inspiration opened before me. Having completed most of the SDIT training courses, I can confidently attest to the exceptional standard of instruction provided. I absolutely loved this course. I was incredibly nervous to start as it’s a completely different career from what I’ve been doing for the last 15 years. However, this course has got me excited for the change and motivated to not only learn more but to become the best teacher I can. A great source to get the latest methods of safe and happy swimming teaching methods for little swimmers who are just starting out. Dee gets straight to the point. No matter your age or previous experience in swimming instruction, Dee’s course is highly recommended. The focus is entirely on what truly matters: the how. How do I build a relationship with my student? How do I adapt the content appropriately to age and ability? How do I teach in a way that is safe, competent, and enjoyable—for both the student and myself? As a sports teacher with twenty years of experience, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the course. Bev is amazing Tutor and Instructor! I learned a lot in this course and also the help from Bev to break it down to a point that I actually understood everything that I didn’t fully understand how to execute. It was just really lovely to hear the new ideas and drills that others had for certain sections of the course that also helped us to have that in our basic planning also. I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend this SDIT Level 2 for those who have swimmers that wants to do competitions/gala to help them even more into the right direction and just help them perfecting their Starts and turns while also keeping it to the World Aquatics Rules. The SDIT L II beginner coaches course was just perfect. The Tutor Bev Verweij was excellent. I learnt a lot of new drills, which has helped me to be a better to coach my swimmers. Swim Dynamics is unique and the way they offer training makes it easy for the candidates to understand the content.
SDIT Level II beginner coaching course is a brilliant course between LTS and higher level coaching. The presentation of theory via notes, explanation and videos allows participants to leave feeling confident in their ability to teach the next level. Anybody with LTS experience will greatly benefit from these skills. Bev was a phenomenal trainer - giving solid knowledge, support and patience. I highly recommend this course.

I’ve been coaching for over 5 years, and this course was one of the most insightful I’ve attended. Shellby’s extensive knowledge and the way she communicated each topic made a big impact on me. It has already started to influence how I approach all my swim lessons. What I love about the SDIT courses is that they are of a very high standard, very professional and equip you in all aspects of teaching swimming. They also offer sound business advice, which makes the training all encompassing if you are looking to start your own swim school. I highly recommend SDIT for anyone who is planning on becoming a swimming teacher, or would like to polish their skills.
Not only did Swim Dynamics teach me the proper swimming techniques, but it also taught me how to learn independently, how to stick with a problem and find ways of solving it, and perhaps most significantly, the experience taught me the skills that will enable me to continue to develop my technical swimming skills. My journey began here. From a general pool minder and gateman to owning my own swim school. All thanks to Making Waves swim school as it hosted some SDIT Courses and that was when l was sent to do my level one with Swim Dynamics. l did well for my level one and the following year l did my level two again with Swim Dynamics. Now wherever l teach, people ask which courses did l do and tell them SDIT is the way to go. l will never stop referring friends and those willing to be the best teachers ever!
